Fees
- 1hr @ $100 (5min intro / 50 min drive / 5 min debrief)
- 3hr ‘Refresher’ @ $300: 3 hrs of instruction (or 2 hours plus use CVDS car for test on 3rd appt).
Cancellation
Contact your instructor 24 hours prior to the lesson to reschedule, otherwise a cancellation fee of $40 will be assessed. If you are sick, the fee may be waived. This fee MUST be paid to the instructor at the next lesson.
Payments
Partial or full payment for lessons is made in advance, depending on the number of hours. Payments can be made by instalment for 6+ hours of instruction. No Refunds. Lessons may be gifted, inquire for details.

Licensing Requirements
Students must possess a valid Class 7 or Class 5 Learner’s permit prior to taking any in car lessons. Students must always carry their licence during training.
Vehicle Occupants
In car lessons are conducted one-on-one with the instructor. Parents or guardians are free to accompany on one lesson to help with home practice.
Use of CVDS Vehicle for Test
It is at our discretion as to whether a driver is ready to use our vehicle for driving test, and we are at liberty to cancel. The scheduling of the road test is required by the client. Our vehicle might be already booked with another client at the time scheduled. This will result in the client attempting to reschedule the test appointment to accommodate the instructor’s availability.
Test Preparation
Valid drivers license, 2nd piece of ID, $35 test fee Class 7L – $50 test fee Class 7N or Class5. *If applicable: Work or Study permit / PR Card*
Tips: Book road test up to 6 months prior to the eligibility date. Go to icbc.com *make sure to know your security key word*
Good shoes, glasses/ sunglasses, comfortable clothing, hair out of eyes, snack, water & well rested.
Accident Liability
If accident or injury occurs while a student is driving, CVDS Inc. is NOT liable.We have $5,000,000 liability insurance on our vehicles!
Weather Closures
If the weather, CVDS vehicle or instructors’ health are unsafe, the student will be contacted to reschedule.
